1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Jumpcut ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Jumpcut. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. User Content and License Grant

You retain ownership of content you create and upload ("User Content"). However, by posting User Content on Jumpcut, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to:

Use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display your User Content
Distribute your User Content through the App and other platforms
Use your User Content for promotional, marketing, and advertising purposes
Create derivative works from your User Content

This license continues even if you stop using our services, to the extent your User Content has been shared with others or used for promotional purposes.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to grant this license for any content you upload.

5. WorldCut Live Broadcasts

WorldCut is a collaborative live broadcast feature. By participating in WorldCut:

You consent to your video being combined with other participants' content
You grant us the right to record, distribute, and use WorldCut broadcasts
You acknowledge broadcasts are public and may be viewed by anyone
You agree to follow our community guidelines during live sessions

6. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You agree not to post content or engage in conduct that:

Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or violence
Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
Contains malware, spam, or deceptive content
Impersonates another person or entity
Violates the privacy of others
Promotes discrimination or hate speech

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Jumpcut offers free and paid subscription tiers ("Jumpcut Pro"). For paid subscriptions:

Payment is charged through your app store account
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your app store settings
Refunds are subject to app store policies

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Jumpcut and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JUMPCUT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
